Failed logic in the gemplay loop is:

If you run out of money and then fuel it is game over, becasue you cannot earn money without fuel which costs money.

No Money = No Fuel = No Money

I hesitated between two options: allowing the player to pay for fuel on credit to keep the game going, or doing something more realistic : triggering a game-over sequence with a video of the ship drifting in space, followed by a game reset.

Regarding the station's automated sales: I made sure to always keep two units of each—water, fuel, and oxygen—in stock to minimize this type of problem.
