I think the biggest problem with the game is the communication to the player. When chopping down the tree, there is no animation (or even red coloring) on the tree to indicate you interacted with it. I also had issues with the boat and getting the wood into the boat was not working.

With that said, when the game was working I was having fun chilling to the beats while cutting down trees :)

Yeah, I was heavily working on the chop down trees system but there was much more I wanted to add, there just wasn’t enough time for me since I started pretty late and a unexpected visit happened, I was supposed to go out to dinner yesterday which put a huge dent into the process of making this game. Next time I’ll put a tutorial above priorities than a menu screen since that’s the last thing I added lol. Just for reference I wanted to add sound effects when picking up logs, better UI text, chop swing animation, maybe tree falling instead, particle effects, my own models ect. I just was crunched on time and I have a bad PC plus motivation always low </3

I didn’t even realize inputting wood into the boat isn’t fully working rip. Thanks for the feedback! The red animation idea is a excellent idea.

yah Unity is rough. Im a civil engineer and we never touch a computer. I decided to pick up Unity at the beginning of the year and it has been a rough journey, but I learned a lot. My best recommendation is to try this tutorial video. I was stuck in tutorial hell for a while but this is the best tutorial for unity I have ever seen. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLcRSafycjWFeHojgzbkNUXt9S6-Q7BGQE&si=njFWCORN...

If you end up following it let me know how it goes :)
