If you you didn't do the small bridge cutscene during the prologue when controlling Cross and then later (eg after day 18) try to do it when controlling Emma the small prologue cutscene will still incorrectly play.
So I guess it doesn't really affect me anymore since I just avoided it when I got back to it from one of my earlier saves. I hope you can figure out how to fix it though.
I also can't confirm on my end since my earliest save is day 1 of being in the village.
