Dude this is delightful! Tough but fair with an eerie and fascinating atmosphere, Locum Tenens is easily my favorite PSP homebrew game so far. Bonus points for the wolfie characters too! <3
Playing on a physical PSP 3001, the controls work well and the framerate is VERY smooth! The weapons feel solid and effective, health is sparse but ammo is plentiful (as far as where I'm at anyway), and I really appreciate the sound design. Seeing walls and props react to stray bullets was a nice surprise too :D
The main requests I've got are a screen in-game to remind me of the controls, and maybe an alternate scheme that uses the analog nub. With full rebinding, one could even create a very comfy dual-stick solution for Vita gameplay! Heck, if you wanted to (or would be open to sharing the source code), I could see this running pretty great on a bunch of other platforms! Imagine a 3DS port haha <3

Hey! Glad you liked it. I rewrote rendering part of the engine several times to achieve smooth fps. It wasn't an easy task even for a simple game like this.
Stick requires full options implementation for an ability to disable it because both of my PSPs have drifting issue. This was the main reason why it is disabled. It's actually there in the code just commented out.
I planned on settings and some more stuff like map editor if game will become at least slightly popular but in the end I abandoned such ideas on improving anything and moved on.
About sources I'll think about it. Releasing sources of PSP version without graphics might be ok with me. I'm just unsure if anybody really will try to do something with them. Can't say I really invested into good architecture and code of the engine.
