Is whatever ruleset is used to play on the card? Or do you need the chainmail rules?

Yup! The process for building the dungeon is on the back of the postcard. There isn't a ruleset for roleplaying the dungeon -- it's more just something fun to make to send to a friend, though you could certainly incorporate it as a place to explore using whatever ruleset you usually play with!

I’m going to make a dungeon and use Old School Essentials to play it.

I frickin love that idea. Would love to see the dungeon if you get a chance to share it!

s denotes secret rooms, lure is 1000 GP, trap is ten foot fall into pile of bones, npc want to avoid is my buddy who is full of insults and never shuts up as an npc, and boss is a noble knight Sir Novellis, HD 3.

Heck yeah! Love all the maze-like corridors you've got! Thanks so much for sharing!

The neat thing about this design is you can make quick one shot dungeons in no time at all. All you need to do is choose a rule set to play it in. In the old d&d books and even some now, there are rules for generating your own dungeons, this is an absolutely cool creative idea.

thanks a ton! I’m glad to hear it’s got your creativity flowing!
