Could you tell me your system specs, like cpu, gpu and os?

Processor: 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 @ 2.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.4GHz

Installed RAM: 12.0 GB (11.8 GB usable)

Graphics card: Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics (128 MB)

Storage: 290 GB of 477 GB used

System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Windows: 11

It's most likely the intel graphics, seems like a lot of people have trouble running the game on "older" intel integrated gpus.
I believe the ones from before the new Arc lineup lack some modern features required by the game engine.

Thank you, is there potential solutions to fix this issue or do I just need a better graphic card (Or rather have to get a new laptop to even play it unfortunately 😞)?

I don't know if you can update the drivers to fix it. I believe the features are missing physically from the hardware.

But if you really want to try the game you might be able to run it in opengl mode. Just be aware that the lighting and colors are going to be messed up, and some graphics will be missing.

To play the game in opengl mode:
Open the "Launch using Vulkan.bat" file in notepad and replace "vulkan" with "opengl3".
Save the file and then launch the game using the edited bat file.

Ok, I'll try that then. Thank you so much though!

play it through vulkan, i have a core i3 with 8 gb ram in my laptop and it works really well. theres a launch using vulkan option in the folder so do that, then adjust settings as needed. hope this helps!

(also, im sure you know but make sure to limit you frames, a lit of these kinda games have uncapped rates and its caused me issues in the past before too)
