How many hits does the boss take? I swear he should be dead after 5 minutes of swinging at him

Haha, it shouldn't take that long. He does have more health than the other enemies but only a bit. There seems to be something causing a bug that breaks his health bar. Dying and retrying the level usually seems to fix it. I will be looking at possible causes to fix this in the next (and final) update.

dying and retrying doesn't work, cause i've been putting quite a few attempts in and it's just taking a long time with no progress

speaking of the boss, maybe it's me but i don't think the dash works on him? he can instantly hit me when i feel like he should've been stunned

No problem. You should also know I reopened the game and that made it work on the first try (thank you for the level select, that made it very quick and painless)! Good luck figuring it out
