Thanks! Yes, the hitboxes are a little wonky - it's my first game and I had to develop them from scratch using a YouTube tutorial, so they aren't perfect. Best method to win is to not get hit, which is doable! Glad you still had a good experience.

Haha, it shouldn't take that long. He does have more health than the other enemies but only a bit. There seems to be something causing a bug that breaks his health bar. Dying and retrying the level usually seems to fix it. I will be looking at possible causes to fix this in the next (and final) update.
Hey y'all, just wanted to give a heads up there will be a slight delay in the Burgeoning Bloodlust full release. I've run into an issue when trying to run the game after exporting that I'm trying to fix. The good news is the delay should only be about 1 day, 2 at the most. So sorry everyone, this is the first game I'm releasing so I was bound to run into something I wasn't ready for. Stay tuned, the game is in a complete state so it won't be long!
That's interesting, I have a worse CPU than you but mine doesn't hit over 20% and that's with other stuff open. Also, Opera does support the game, just not the sound. I played on both Opera and Chrome and never encountered an issue, the game worked perfectly and never spiked anything. I'd love to tackle it but I literally cannot replicate it so I don't know what to do. This is my first game and first time using GDevelop. I'll try to look into it for future updates even though I can't figure out why it's happening. The game isn't very big in the first place, so even being unoptimized it shouldn't be failing so badly.

I'm glad you liked it. I've been operating under the assumption that simple combat is better since the focus is on the girl, but a lot of people have asked for more complex combat. I definitely don't want to make it too complex (it would be very difficult anyways since I'm more an artist than a game dev) but I will probably add a bit more to it in the future.
I've gotten reports of all kinds of different specific issues, from lag, blank screens, keyboard inputs, etc. I have literally no idea what is causing them lol. I can only guess it has to do with GDevelop 5 (what I programmed the game in) and its browser integration. But I don't know why it works perfectly for me and many others and has weird problems for some, I will look into it more.
