Thanks! Yes, the hitboxes are a little wonky - it's my first game and I had to develop them from scratch using a YouTube tutorial, so they aren't perfect. Best method to win is to not get hit, which is doable! Glad you still had a good experience.

That is unfortunate, I don't see why the level select wouldn't work on non-windows versions, but I don't have a way to test those. It should be saving your level progress to a JSON file after each combat, then enabling the level select on the main menu.

That does help, it's almost certainly the cause. There must be an event that is breaking the health bar when no normal orcs are on screen - I will be looking for that in the cleanup update.

Glad you enjoyed it - sorry about that bug, I will be attempting to fix it in an update. Hopefully you were able to get past it - In the meantime, restarting the game fixed it for others

I will look into alternative purchase methods. Itch only permits Paypal unless you set up direct payment, which I had not set up before releasing (I didn't know this until after). Join my Discord or follow me on X at MerhapsDA to keep an eye out for an alternative release.

Haha, it shouldn't take that long. He does have more health than the other enemies but only a bit. There seems to be something causing a bug that breaks his health bar. Dying and retrying the level usually seems to fix it. I will be looking at possible causes to fix this in the next (and final) update.

I will look into alternative options. Sorry you ran into that issue.

I believe that PayPal only is an Itch policy, at least I couldn't find a way to change that.

Hey y'all, just wanted to give a heads up there will be a slight delay in the Burgeoning Bloodlust full release. I've run into an issue when trying to run the game after exporting that I'm trying to fix. The good news is the delay should only be about 1 day, 2 at the most. So sorry everyone, this is the first game I'm releasing so I was bound to run into something I wasn't ready for. Stay tuned, the game is in a complete state so it won't be long!

No, a steam release is not currently planned.

I'm making the game and will upload whatever versions the GDevelop engine lets me. I haven't tested it yet, if it has android support I will, if it doesn't I won't

You aren't supposed to sit there, if you press space to continue the dialogue scroll it will continue sometimes before even a single blink. But in future updates I may put a pop-up at the bottom with "Hit space to continue" or whatever.

Did you try pressing space to continue the dialogue scroll or did you just sit there? I just tested it and it worked correctly for me.

Still working on it, amigo :) But progress is slow. Work has been busy.

That's interesting, I have a worse CPU than you but mine doesn't hit over 20% and that's with other stuff open. Also, Opera does support the game, just not the sound. I played on both Opera and Chrome and never encountered an issue, the game worked perfectly and never spiked anything. I'd love to tackle it but I literally cannot replicate it so I don't know what to do. This is my first game and first time using GDevelop. I'll try to look into it for future updates even though I can't figure out why it's happening. The game isn't very big in the first place, so even being unoptimized it shouldn't be failing so badly.

Definitely will for the full release, as for the demo I'll look into it. 

I'm glad you liked it. I've been operating under the assumption that simple combat is better since the focus is on the girl, but a lot of people have asked for more complex combat. I definitely don't want to make it too complex (it would be very difficult anyways since I'm more an artist than a game dev) but I will probably add a bit more to it in the future.

Yes, I've already completed the next stage of weight gain actually and am working on the third.

I've gotten reports of all kinds of different specific issues, from lag, blank screens, keyboard inputs, etc. I have literally no idea what is causing them lol. I can only guess it has to do with GDevelop 5  (what I programmed the game in) and its browser integration. But I don't know why it works perfectly for me and many others and has weird problems for some, I will look into it more.
