Ahh I see! That answers both of my "complains" then. I also did a story game (although the story is pretty boring) and thought about making the outcome of the story out of your control ass well. 

Gameplay wise (IMO, not trying to be mean or anything) I don't think it works to remove so much control from the player cause  it ends up being more of a "visual novel" than a game; I feel like it's similar to making a puzzle game where the door might open or not if you are successful or if you fail. Still an interesting concept that could be developed further. And again, great art and story! :)

It’s a fair point, there’s literally zero meaningful gameplay in that sense :)

I guess we’ll see if the game evolves after the jam!
