I wouldn't say the engine sound is any more annoying than in the Atari version. I was planning to add optional AY sound effects and QAOP controls, but the project is currently on hold.
Atari is not so annoying, because the sound chip is better. It's a shame that project is on hold ( AY sound effects and QAOP would be nice!
