Hey Croco, been enjoying what you've put out so far.

For an idle/desktop overlay game though, the monster girls seem to require rather frequent attention and feeding. For an active window game this rate of interaction would be fine; it gets boring when things are too slow. But for a desktop pet sim these requirements come by too frequently. 20-30min between required interactions would be better than the ~10min it requires now. Perhaps even give the game a second 'mode' when players are busy to slow things down, such as when the player selects the desk to 'work'. Of course this may all be alleviated but future content in the "keeper" or "helpers" section of the shop, but right now I feel the level of interaction leans more towards an active game than a desktop overlay.

I enjoy responding to the monster girls' requests, but the bubble disappears too quickly. I understand it's a design choice to be able to miss a request if the player is inattentive, and that's fine, but I think it would be more organic for the monster girls to carry a request to the player. Give them a thought bubble for a longer period that when selected would present their request. Kinda like checking in on the monster girl and seeing how they're doing/what they want. Could be further integrated with their social score, where a highly social monster girl would present their request plainly (a goblin girl running up to the player yelling "pet me, pet me") or a less social monster girl would be more reserved (a slime girl following the player looking like she has something she wants to say).

Regardless if you take these into consideration, I do look forward to where you take this game from here on. ^^

Hello Rick! Thanks for sharing your thoughts, gave me a lot to think about. I agree that progress / interactions can feel a bit fast at the moment, I'm open to slowing things down a little. Since I'm mainly the one testing the game and I restart a lot the saves to see how it feels, I can end up overtweaking the numbers

And your second point is also interesting. in the last devlog (uploaded on the 1st) I have something similar to what you are proposing, a new Monster Girl state where they approach the player to get their attention. I didn't think about the social level affecting how they react, but I really like that, adds a lot of personality, better than my idea of only affecting the frequency of this new state of going up to the player.

Thank you for your comment!
