That's very fair! Originally I was going to make the camera zoom in a bit when the ball is closer to the paddles, but didn't have the time for that.

nah probably what would be better is to make the ball have a disctinct color or glow to it. That would easily make it standout more. btw if you end up working more on it, neon graphics would fare VERY well for and arcade asthetic!!!
