I love me some good procedural generation :]
The game is way too laggy on my end (at least when ran through Wine—I don't even wanna find out how the browser version performs) so I had to watch the video instead. Speaking of the video, it's just gameplay, so not much points for that.
I really like the idea of the game! I've made something alike it myself so it hits a sweet spot for me. The visuals are quite stunning and the modifier idea is pretty cool (though I'm not exactly sure what they really do, if they modify you or the world). It does look a little bleak though, and I think more elements could help make it a little more lively.
