Yeah, I've not noticed this, always start hippo with a mod file not direct Hippo app. I did test it in AGA and it shows correct so looks like a bug in Hippo Player in RTG mode not detecting correct color pens. maybe it's intended to be chipset primarly? If you lift this to developer I'm sure he fix it ;)

Did a fresh vanilla AmigaOS 3.2.3 install and only installed P96, VisualPrefs, FullPalette, MagicMenu, MUI3.8 and AHI4. I can see a happy Hippo with the right colors. So it’s probably something with AmigaOS 32se and not HippoPlayer?

There's also a HippoPlayer bug if you use the scrollbar: Grab the scrollbar with the mouse and scroll down and up. The Playlist will be overwritten with „mod“. It’s all fine when you click below the scrollbar through your list.

My vanilla install also doesn’t have this bug.

hmmm, maybe a conflict with something, if you select AmigaOS 3.2 Theme, it's pretty much original with nothing added. Each theme has various stuff added in "WBStartup" but located in the theme itself. to check what's running in current theme look in theme info "drop down menu". maybe you are running a theme with "fullpallette" and this causes issues due to how it's configured ? I've put a mail to developer, he thinks there is a bug in the icon itself. You can create your own Theme and decide what you want running, pretty much everything. Look in instructions on how to create a theme, it's worth learning it and have it just as you like it to be, you can also change everything in a current theme.

It is FullPalette since in the theme I have changed all the color pens even the first eight, so icon is what it is. It's not specific error in anything it's just that Amiga uses first 8 pens for system and changing these can have weird visual things happening ;)
