At first I thought I was growing potatoes to use as ammo for the spud cannon, but picked up on the intended loop after reading through your description.
The look and feel are perfect for this jam. Spin focused mechanics, although I did manage to cheese the spud cannon by just sort of shaking the mouse, firing in a cone instead of a circle, which I found more effective.
