I’m stuck on room 4/purple:

what appears to be something like “skater gull” and “gater skull,” but the blanks are [6] [3] for the gull and [5] [4] for the skull. I also tried “skull gate” for the second one.
the winking sun and the skeleton throwing another one off a cliff. [6] wink & [5] stink (they’re sort of zombie-looking)? Something with cliff? glow/throw? edit: aaaand, I got it! zombie-adjacent!

For the first thing you described, you got the order of the words wrong. Skull Gate is the correct answer, so what could possibly rhyme with that?

“Skull gate” was not accepted for me.

Weird, because the game accepted it for me.

Super weird! And I would expect the left one to be “gull skate,” but its blanks are [6] [3]. I also don’t remember this one being in the purple room yesterday, so I’m wondering if some things moved around or something?

I changed this puzzle after release (the original was too hard/unfun). I think you're on the old version of the program (which is why the letter counts don't match) but your browser loaded the new art.

Try reloading the page and hitting Continue from the main menu. Or you can enter the solutions for the original puzzle which were SPINAL FIN / FINAL SPIN.
