The spinning tower system to progress through the game is a promising mechanic and a creative exploration of the theme, but the lack of a tutorial makes it hard to get into the game. After reading the description on the page I was able to give it another go and had some fun.

I think that if there were fewer cards to choose from, but more variety in the aspect of the dungeon with torches, hanging chains, etc... and some background music, it could be really good.

It looks like you wanted to make it a roguelite with a complex tactical combat system but personally I don't feel like it really adds much to the game at this stage.  Just a few spells, more lively sprites and a better sense of where we are in the dungeon would make a better difference to me.

yea near the end i was wishing i didnt make all those effect system things, and just polished it and had simple attacks and stuff. it was meant to be climbing the outside of the tower but i made it dark outside of it bc the lighter sky colors were distracting and i didnt have time to do like clouds and stuff but yea if i had time itd look like climbing the outside of a tower. the sounds were also last minute (besides the card sounds)

Still very decent for a jam game in my opinion given the limited time, and I hope you add all those things after the jam! With the sky outside and birds flying by, and the impression that we are getting higher every loop, that will look pretty awesome!
