the bounce direction is indeed unpredictable at low speed, to get more consistent bounce you should tap/click right before hitting the criminals.
but yes not dropping the combos is hard but unless the RNG god hates you you can consistently get over 20 combos
how I got the 69(nice) combos is just because the skill you gain when you played test the game over a hundred times.

I KNEW I was missing something! The whole time I was thinking there was definitely a mechanic I was missing. That's unfortunate, I might try for a higher combo again.
NGL though, I dont think I would have ever caught that it would be less consistent at low speed hahahaha my inherent instinct to play it safe would have not gotten me there 💀
