The lack of history does have it be a little harder! I know when I was playing that the items I just used still stuck out of the bins they came from so that helped a little, I just have a pretty bad memory so if the levels got much harder I probably would just resort to writing it down myself haha.
And yes those are feelings we all get as creators so it's totally understandable! Even I am still nervous to show my game to my friends, but you have a really cute and great concept and one that I feel could be made into a full game out of this jam for sure! You should definitely be super proud about this ESPECIALLY since it's your first game. That's so awesome, and again great job :)
