I learned a lot about sound design (randomizers, pitch shifts, low pass filters), 3D modeling (marking edges so it shades smooth in the areas it should while keeping the pointy bits pointy), tweens and lerps for dynamic programmable animations, how shader compilations can cause a game to stutter on the first play (unfortunately the fix I tried didn't work though). 

That's pretty comprehensive, glad you got to delve into a lot of different components! There's a lot of technical stuff that goes over my head, but you learn as you discover where/when/how things go wrong. That's like where 80% of my time goes, haha. 

Yup part of the fun of being a solo dev is getting to wear lots of different hats.
