Thank you so much for taking the time to play my game and for leaving such a thoughtful comment! I really appreciate the feedback. We actually spent quite a bit of time debating the difficulty balance during development. While we intentionally wanted to make the experience feel somewhat 'painful' and irritating, we were also very concerned about finding the right threshold. Our main goal was to ensure players would stick with it long enough to complete at least one 24-hour cycle to experience all the game's mechanics, like the darkness of night, the effects of hunger and sleep deprivation, and the printer running out of ink. Knowing that you caught onto that intention is very validating, but it’s great to hear a player's perspective on where that line between 'challenging' and 'too much' really lies.
