I see! I can totally see the vision now. I'm gonna be honest, it didn't feel like a roguelike to me! I assumed it as a hotline miami alike linear game. The upgrades feel linear too and they were abundant enough to have them all even before the last level.

Anyways, to cheer this up again, I want to add something I didn't add in my first comment, this game has really serious potential to be expanded into a full game. If you can take the opportunity I think it's really worth it. It gave me full devolver digital game vibe. Not sure what is the process for them to publish someone but i can totally see it.

I can definitely see your point!! It does make me wonder, however, how roguelikes actually present themselves to the player and how they make the player understand the nature of the game. I've realized now that I've never actually played a roguelike, only roguelites, which are very different and the presentation comes from the game pretty much telling you.

I'm honored to hear it has full-game potential! I would honestly totally love to make this into a full game at some point! Currently I'm working on a different full-size game, so I don't have the time, energy or resources to make this into one. But like I said, I would absolutely love to make this into a full experience! Maybe once my current game is released and enough people are interested, I could give it a shot!
