This is fantastic! I love everything about this idea. This is great for your first game! I'm a big pixel art fan and this game has a lovely cohesive art style. The music kicking in after the start section is great and the idle animation is so adorable, it makes waiting for platforms to return less frustrating. The jump sound is also amazing, very serious indeed.

There were a few awkward things like the platforms having collision on the side of them. I'm not sure if it was deliberate because I know this is an issue with the Godot default "one-way" setting.

Wonderful debut! I love Gink <3

Thank you so much!

Yeah the collisions on the platforms were giving me a headache lol. Couldn't quite get it to work without the one-way setting, but like you said, the one-way setting has it's own problems.

Wow, for a first attempt at pixel art, you smashed it! Keep it up :D
