What a neat concept!
Firstly I really want to comment on how I appreciate the notes syncing perfectly with the beat when lining up with the ring; it adds so much to the feel of the game, and I can't imagine it was entirely trivial to get right. I've played so many jam games in the past that involve some kinda of beat / rhythm where it doesn't match the background music! So that's awesome.
I do think it needs something else to really elevate it, but I can't quite put my finger exactly on what. Maybe power-ups / upgrades? Not sure, but it does feel like once you've seen through the first minute or so of the game, you've seen it all and it's just difficulty from there. However that is completely fine for the a jam game in itself, as I feel that it respects my time.
I really love this as an interpretation of the theme. It's a simple concept executed really well. Juice and polish is abundant, so the game has this lovely crunchy feel to play.
Lots of fun was had with this one, thank you.
