man the design on this one is clever. great implementation of the theme

yep totally valid criticism. thanks for playing!

thanks for playing!

regarding the seat colors, here's my response for another similar comment:

"the initial idea was that every train car would be unique in its own way, and that anomalies are spooky variations of any of these train cars. so then the game loop would require you to remember not just one train car in the train, but all of them.

in the end we didn't have time to make the train cars too unique (would require a LOT more art assets), so we settled with chair colors and handlebars as ways to differentiate the cars. but then i totally get how those could get misconstrued as anomalies. i think if we did make the cars different enough, this wouldn't be that much of an issue, but i could stand corrected."

regarding the levitating guy, you're not supposed to pass thru him - seeing him indicates that you missed an anomaly on the previous train car

thanks! try reading the notes in the description on the itch page, maybe that will help

thanks for playing! played and rated yours too

yeah we noticed text scaling issues on various devices of different screen resolutions. but i don't think we've encountered crashes due to full screen... we'll look into it, thanks!

thank you!

thanks for playing! yess those would be great next steps

some anomalies are harder than others! maybe you got a difficult one on your 5th train

maybe we could add another game mode that amps up the horror aspect lol, just so people who aren't too good with horror (like myself tbh) can still enjoy

thanks for stress testing! i don't think any of us have encountered that bug so great to know!

some anomalies are harder than others by design!

thanks for playing! didn't think about adding an easter egg on the lady, but a great idea!

some anomalies are harder than others, so on some runs you might be staring a lot, but other runs they'll be obvious :)

thanks for playing, and glad to hear you figured it out! definitely agree a clearer tutorial would have been really helpful

glad you stuck around long enough to figure it out!

thanks for playing, rated!

pretty well polished game with some fun puzzle design! i don't think it's necessary to require interacting with boxes to push them (makes pushing boxes tedious)

yep makes sense, fair to call out - pasting a response i wrote for a similar previous comment. hope this helps!

thanks for retrying! would love to try out what you make :)

thanks for playing! perhaps if we build it out more there can be more of a resolution for sure

this game sucks

i like this a lot, and it fits with the theme very well! pretty unique concept

i wish i had an answer for you - i had been thinking about similar questions before and thought about using midi input as a way of timinig obstacles, but i haven't tried this before, so can't comment on how feasible it is ://

i like the concept! could benefit from a tutorial and/or an indication of how the merchant will move before they do, even if movement is randomized.

cool game, but felt bad killing the cute character so many time ;-;

some levels like the bridge one were probably harder than they needed to be due to it being too easy to push corpses around

lost on round 9 after fatfingering ;-;
super creative and well made!

i love this i might have cried a lil

PEAK I CANT STOP SMILING

ok this is peak

(1 edit)

got to bonus level 3. such an adorable puzzle game! cool mechanics and really well polished!

love this!! i refuse to believe this was your first game, it's really impressive. i wonder if it's possible in a post jam version to have movement sync up with the beats more

i adore this game. it's so well polished from the art to the gameplay to the music (actually 5 star audio, fantastic job). the only thing i'll say is i would have loved to have a minimap as a QoL thing, but i'm fine without one too. amazing job guys

Excited to see the post jam version :)

thanks for playing :)

the art is incredible and i can tell that you guys put a lot of effort into making all the mechanics work, but i'm a bit confused about two things 1) how to tell if people are on my coasters (should i just assume that if it's running, there are people on it?) and 2) how can i tell what speeds each coaster wants and whether they are enjoying their rides?

thank you!!

high points for creativity! great concept, and interesting puzzles

thanks for playing!
