I had a really good time with this one! I'm used to the "choose-from-three-things-on-level-up" idea being used exclusively to make things easier, so it was cool to see that flipped on its head, ramping up the difficulty steadily while still giving meaningful meta-game agency to the player. The controls were smooth, too, so when I messed up (which was a lot), it felt like it was my fault instead of the game screwing me. The music was a nice fit, too, and while the art style was simple, I like the vibe of it (and the nice particle effects). Great job all around!
