The art style of this one is really cohesive - everything felt like it had it's own story behind it, and it all felt like it fit, from the shopkeeper's attire to the gear you get, to the ores and rock below. I do think the gameplay loop gets tired a bit quick without much to spice it up, but it was around the time it was overstaying it's welcome that I reached the core.

The ending felt a bit lacklustre - sitting and watching a drill spin on the core until the end felt like maybe something more could have been done to mix things up, to freshen things up at the last hurdle, even if it was as simple as an ending cutscene of some kind to tie everything back together.

The art style was good though, and the sound design fit the cavernous vibe. All in all - a solid lil' cosy game.

Great feedback thanks! Totally agree, a cutscene would've rounded things up for sure

Even a soundtrack change/kicking in, something introspective as you drill, or zooming the camera out a little could have really made it sing.

This game feels like it could be an awesome cozy lil experience, and leaning into that would be neat.
