Ugh trust me I know I hated to do it like that, but I backed myself in a corner and had to rush to finish so many things I pushed off until the last day, The original plan was to have full character sprites that traveled on the road and had a full dialog system but I opted for the mail system as a way to ensure I could get it all finished as a solo dev, I may do one more big update and do everything how it was meant to be done...
