Half-Life 1 and 2 were some of the first games I played on PC growing up, so I definitely wanted to channel that a bit in the feel - going for that slightly clunky aesthetic as part of it, and even styling the audio and visuals of the main menu off Half-Life 2's layout. I'm glad that inspiration was clear and bled through!
