This one felt really good to play - it still had that game jam feel to it, but it was really smooth all things considered. The controls of the aircraft felt a bit funky and clunky, but the overall premise and feel were really solid.
Music slapped, though it did kind of kick in very suddenly a lot of the time - but the visual effects and sound of the main gun made it all feel really, really polished. My only critique of the combat loop is the recharging of the gun - having to go take a moment mid action to spam a bunch of keys really took me out of the flow, especially when you only get two shots per recharge, and all the enemies seemed to need two shots to take down.
Sailing through the skies and through stormy clouds felt awesome though. I really liked this game, despite it's quirks. I can see a fully-fledged version of this as a roguelike or adventure game, about sailing between distant ports, fighting off sky pirates and navigating the solar seas,
