Definitely not clear that money doesn't give you points, but points gives you money. 
The math here is definitely wrong. 2x2x2 is NOT x6. It's x8,Yep, it’s actually more complicated than that:
- each wheel gives you 1 coin per spin, no matter what
- each wheel gives you a base score of +1 per spin, no matter what
- otherwise, money and score are actually unrelated: money doesn’t give you points, and points don’t give you money either
But you’re right, it should be more clear in-game, just didn’t have time to do it within the game jam.
