I probably wouldn't describe myself as the target demographic for this type of game, however I'm more than willing to give anything a fair crack with an open mind. I'm glad I did.
Firstly I did enjoy the writing, I do read a fair bit (but not much romance), and everything read quite nicely to my taste. I think there was perhaps a touch more exposition that I would have preferred in places, particularly around introducing new minor characters; but I'm really nitpicking here because I have little in the way of constructive criticism to give.
I messed up my first email, but more or less everything else went well. By the end I felt like that meme with Mike Tyson and the pigeons:
Anyway I digress. The play button wasn't working for me when I was taken back to the main menu, but a refresh was no bother. I played a couple more times to get the best ending.
A nice implementation of the theme which worked well within the style of game you wanted to create. The visuals are lovely and its all in all its a very complete jam experience, which has enough for people that just want to play through quickly, and more than enough for those who wish to go through several runs.
