For you to have this kind of output for the first game jam, I'm really amazed. The game is really stable and very playable. I also love the simple story line you made. The music is a banger, and the audio feedback is good. It kinda reminds me of Touhou, a bullet-hell game, and fortunately, I'm one of their enthusiast. I also love the tutorial at the start; some game jam first-timer skip this totally so good job!
Now, as a bullet-hell gamer, I see that there are two types of bullets here: one that is raining down and one that tracks you. Knowing this, I find it very easy to navigate and to dodge that why it's a bit easy. I guess if you're going to have players playing this kind of genre (especially those hardcore ones) , you can crank up the difficulty by adding some other type of bullets like one that explodes or adding lasers. This type of suggestion is just for scalability because you've already laid down the foundation for a bullet-hell game. If I'm not really that type of gamer, I certainly would enjoy this game totally. Adding also some game juice would certainly add to the enjoyability of the game.
The visuals could certainly be improved here by adding animations or working on their colors.
Overall, this is really a very good game for a first-time game jammer. You have a lot of potential and this game could be improved more. Congratulations and good job!
