Sorry to echo feedback which you have already received but I agree that closing the sandwiches felt a little bit clunky. I think it could be improved by adding another piece of bread to the end of the recipe which would indicate that the sandwich is not complete yet on the UI. Otherwise, making it so that the sandwich automatically closes itself by grabbing both halves on the first go would also work.

There were a handful of UI related bugs which didn't really negatively impact the game, but fixing them would bring another level of polish to the gameplay experience.
- The tier counter starts at "None". I think it would be clearer if it started at "Tier 0" or "Tutorial"
- Clicking the buttons on the Game Over screen does not restart or exit the game. This means that you have to refresh the page to play again.
- You cannot adjust the music or sound effect volumes

There isn't a clear way to reset the sandwich. This is especially punishing because new ingredients can show up where existing ingredients were. For example, I wanted a White Bread but as I clicked it the Brown Bread showed up. Then I had no choice but to submit an empty sandwich which killed my run :(

One feature which I feel like this game is missing is a leaderboard system so that you can try to beat your last score. However, I can understand if this was not implemented due to the time constraints of the jam. Similarly, a way to skip the tutorial would help replayability.

Ultimately I enjoyed the game and liked the unique approach to the theme.
