Thank you so much!! I was so tempted to implement more modern mechanics but I really wanted to capture that clunky, rigid, retro aesthetic. Maybe one day I’ll do a modernized version of the game! :)
My guess is the younger generation like the more modern mechanics whereas the older generation who grew up on 8-bit Nintendo (like myself) prefer the more classic feel. But it all comes down to individual preference...
