Thank you! Yes I’m already working on a full release! Can’t wait to show you :)

Thank you!

Thank you so much! You made my day for going back to beat all the levels! I hope you enjoyed this bite-sized experience! :)

Really fun math game! The idea is simple ,but with the juicy animation and the great music,  it made a math game becomes super addictive!

I can see my kids playing this for fun and learning math along the way!

Also, what an idea for audio setting! I was amazed when i found out the audio control!

Thank you so much! I didn't think you needed the hints TBH. You blasted through it fairly quickly! I was just too eager to show other levels within the limited time :p

Thank you again!

Thank you for much for the kind words! I'm glad you enjoyed the puzzles! And I'm glad that you liked the art style. I'm a coder and just started learning pixel art about a year ago so I really appreciate the compliment!

Very original idea of separating the attack range with attack type in a tower defense game! I love it and I think this idea can definitely be built on for further explorations!

The 3D graphics in this game are really good. Took some time to understand what I suppose to do but when I get a hang of it, it is pretty nice seeing the plants grow.

Also FPS is hard and you nailed the feeling. kudos for having the mouse sensitivity setting!

nice.1-6 and 1-8 was my favorite.

Thank you I’m glad you enjoyed it! Do you have a favorite level?

Super fun game and very original idea! The art is also amazing. I didn’t have a numpad but I still had fun smashing buttons lol

I would like to shoutout the sound effects. You really just used your mic to make up pew pew sound, it really showed the indie dev spirit! Love it!

Yep that'd get awesome!

Thank you! I'm glad that you like the story.  There are more story to Ginger Wang and other characters, im planning to make more level of this game and tell the whole story that i would like to tell.

Thank you! I chose this ui design because it is super time saving! (No assets need, just plain Godot boxflat style) And also in sync with the theme.

Thank you for the kind words!!

Thank you so much! Yeah I spent 3 full days just to design the levels.

Expedition 33 + Slay the spire? Two of my all time bests combined? All 5s automatic! Thank you for making a game like this!

This is a very solid puzzle platformer! Almost feel a complete game and could be released on steam.  The art, sound are very cohesive with the asethetic that the game tries to build.  The conversational guide are very charming too!

For me, I really love the concept and the gameplay. I think it is really fun. However two things that made the game a little less fun than it supposed to be are: (both are very low hanging fruits)

1. Control, I don't know how to control the arrow keys and the space bar and the mouse at the same time.  I think just move the movement to wsad would make the control feel much better

2. Accessibility, the text are small and hard to read. (Or maybe I'm old).

The game itself is great tho! Great Job!

Great cookie clicker with a mutation spin!

The only thing I would like to mention is that evolution takes sooo much money! It would be nice to lower it just for the jam so we can get stronger faster to try different upgrades.

Great fun overall!

Also, sounds and arts are both perfect!

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review. And thank you for actually completing the whole game!

I agree with you on both cons completely. I’m adding a delay to consecutive moves for the control as well as toggle in setting to disable it.

The robot talk in level 8 was a funny story.

It was initially intentional to try to give the player a stressed feeling if they try to go through the middle and to hint the players to go though the alley on the left. Right before submission my wife told me it is too annoying and I tried to give it a proper fix but couldn’t make it on time.

Thank you so much again!

Def one of the best I played in this Jam. The concept is creative. Art and music are both cohesive. I also appreciate that you added zoom and  hint features to make it more accessible.

There are also so many contents! How many levels are there? I couldn't figure out how to pass this one. Can i get some hints :)

Ah I tried again, Indeed. So the best strategy to level up faster is to stay and wait for the enemies.

I think this is perfectly fine as long as you love it! I know there are a lot of player looking for the classic feeling!

I had a lot of fun!

Some great ideas of a team auto-battler. I have not played a lot of auto-battler, but I think the treat now mechanic is pretty cool. It made watching auto battling not boring anymore.

Great sound design. I'm stressed the whole time while I'm playing. The 3d models are great and the control is very smooth!

Great work!

Great art and music. Gameplay is pretty unique and cool too. It is a very cool experience watching the race. I wish there is a bet system that I can bet on winners to make more money :)

Is there a way to control the mutation at all or it is just all random?

You nailed the metrovania aesthetic. Great game!

Personally I like modern metrovania with faster movement compares to the slower movement in the classic ones, but you really made this a great nostalgic experience with a little spin of your own! GREAT WORK!

This is pretty fun once enemies start to popup, but It took me about 30 second to see the first enemy.  I kept running towards the right tho, maybe that caused enemy not able to "catch" me at the beginning the of level?

Overall, very cohesive experience! Art and Sound are both great!

Also we need more spins!!!

So fun! Played with my son and we can't stop laughing!

This is our build, we beat everything!

I gotta say the casino looks great especially the tables!

(1 edit)

battle royale for genes!

Wow this is a great game! I finished it after several tries. Very original idea of puzzle platformer.  I love the aha moment when I figure out which color (combination) to use when I don't know where to go.

Great Job!

These reviews are so thoughtful. If it is not too much, could you review my game Construct Zero:

https://cyanglaz.itch.io/construct-zero

I tried to play the game but the text are super small and I couldn't read them. The UI does not scale even I tried to scale the game window or full screen.

It looks so interesting and unique and I really want to try.

If it is a known issue and there is a way to fix it,  please let me know!

Great idea for letting player choose when to upgrade, a little nice risk-reward trade off. I think it has a potential to become very good if you keep working on that risk-reward level up system!

Also, perfect control feeling and great accessibility feature allowing controller support, However I couldn't get my Stadia Controller to work on your game, unsure why.  (Stadia sometimes doe not work for certain games, not your fault :) )

Also, why casino? Interesting choice! I'd like to know :p

A super fun survivor-like game. Love the design of that turtle shop, super creative and the art is amazing.

Animation are also super smooth. Great job!

Super fun game! The snails are so cute, and their face expression changes when charging is hilarious. The upgrades are intuitive too!

Great game with just simple fun!  This sort of hole.io /slither.io but with genes. My son loves game like this and I think im going to show him later.

Multi-player incoming? :)

I love this game. Chill yet stressed at the same time. Very Cool! Easily one of my favorite in this Jam!

Great work! I would bump the fun score to 10/10 if i could just for the cat!
