Only gotten a few plays in (and nowhere near solving it). I really like what's here so far. Obviously there's incomplete events and a smattering of typos, but that's to be expected since it's pre-alpha.

For suggestions, I'd love to see some randomization in the final product. I don't know how possible that is, since it could likely lead to impossible variations thanks to RNG, but maybe an "endless random dungeon" mode as an unlockable?

Also, I'd like to see more than just the two options for most events. Fight OR [Secret solution that you have to figure out] feels a little repetitive and predictable. Even if there were two-three hidden options, it would be a nice change-up.

Finally, I think a LITTLE bit of story would be good. Even just a basic setup. This is definitely not the linear style of One Potion, but having the events themselves reference other rooms/events more and having maybe a Town area where you can buy items and upgrades (even if just cosmetics) and interact with other adventurers you find in the dungeon (like berry adventurer) could breathe a ton of life into the world.

Over all, it's got real promise, and I can't wait to see where it goes!

Happy to hear you’re enjoying, especially coming from you!

I appreciate the suggestions. Probably not going to have randomization because it’s more “study the map and figure out the solution” than “adapt on the fly”.

“more than two options” hinges on where I land for how long / difficult a single Level should be, since every option that isn’t part of the final solution or a sub-solution (gathering artifacts) is just a red herring to throw players off. For instance, rolling the berry to crush skeletons seems like a way to save HP, but picking it robs you of the upper paths which are required to actually make it to the end.

And yes! Fully intend to have a lot of character cameos to sprinkle some life into the place.
