Did I enjoy it?
Without a doubt. I nearly jumped out of my seat when I saw a release from you. After finding out that One Potion Please! was no longer seeing updates, I was devastated. This was exciting for me, and I couldn't be more enthusiastic about reporting bugs and adding my thoughts to help you improve it as much as possible.
Would I be excited for upcoming content?
Duh. I genuinely might be your biggest fan—or at least your most dedicated. I think the first level was really well thought out, even for just a proof-of-concept showcase. It proved promising for future additions.
What did I enjoy?
A continuation to the One Potion Please! universe (the Potion-verse?). The idea of actually delving into the dungeon ourselves was perfect uncharted territory, and I hope to see it become more of a rogue-like framework. That would be amazing. I was really happy to see returning characters again, and that you stayed true to the original artwork. Don't fix what isn't broken. I could go on and on here about what I liked.
What didn't I enjoy?
It's a bit odd for me to play as a woman in these settings. When I first discovered that the protagonist in One Potion Please! was a woman, it threw me off, but the game was so enjoyable that it didn't really bother me. While I'm happy that a concept like this lets me participate firsthand, it's disappointing not to experience the dynamics of being a man interacting with the adventurers.
I'm still disappointed that we won't see potential transformations, such as futanari (bulge/outline/imprint expansions), but that hasn't stopped the games from being great. It just feels brazen for this to be the self-proclaimed "lewdest dungeon" if you aren't willing to incorporate more fetishes. While I understand that this is your game and, in the end, you can do whatever you want with it, appealing only to your own fetishes is a selfish yet understandable choice. This might just be my poor attempt at convincing you to be more open to the concepts, for the sake of the parts of your audience—such as myself—that would like to see more transformations.
It feels like some of the mechanics in this game contradicted those in One Potion Please!. For example, the pink mist expanding our breasts, even though it was always the color red that did that.
While I enjoy how subtle, ambiguous, and playful this series can be, sometimes it feels a bit too teasing for a game considered an H-game. I'm not suggesting literal sex scenes or anything like that, but a toggled setting or NSFW DLC would be really nice for people who would like a little more stimulating visuals.
What could be improved?
The filtering/anti-aliasing. Many assets had poor quality.
Bugs:
- On startup, some assets on the present model display the purple-and-black missing-texture box. It generates correctly shortly afterward.
- One-inch black borders on each side of the bordered fullscreen windowed tab on a 3840×2160 monitor.
- The "Your Quest:" prompt does not have the "d" in "delve" capitalized. The "ReLoad" prompt should not have the "L" capitalized.
- In the informational prompt for the current level, "in" should have the "i" capitalized for "(in the dungeon,)".
- The bowling sound effect for rolling the blueberry'd adventurer is significantly louder than the background audio, making it more audibly unpleasant than intended. Furthermore, upon traveling to where she landed, the image used to depict her smashed halfway through the wall has a small gap between the image cut-off and the actual wall itself. It could be realigned to better match the visual.
- Compared to the quality of our very own character to our left, the image quality of the encountered adventurers is drastically lower, with visual artifacts/aliasing. I'm guessing they were originally drawn at a much smaller scale. Enabling mipmaps and then reimporting, or enabling anti-aliasing, could help.
- In the bucket event, the dialogue incorrectly reads: "Nor is is so high that the shadows above conceal it." It should be "Nor is it".
- In the defeat screen from the bucket event, it says "But It feels really nice!" The "I" should not be capitalized.
- In the Berry Amulet description, it says: "You can probably travel through THREE ROOMS before the curse runs its course an immobilizes you." It's missing the "d" in "and immobilizes you."
- The zooming in and out from hovering over your character is not responsive enough. Sometimes it will get stuck and you have to jiggle your cursor over it to get it working again.
- In the ice elemental event, it has a name that just says "Temp art". Unsure if that was intentional or not.
- If you drop the blue potion, or even both potions, into the cauldron—despite the kobold asking you to grab the red potion—they don't use any different dialogue. I think it would make more sense for the kobold to have a response to you not listening to them.
- If you click through fast enough, the attack sound effects while fighting the ice elemental won't even trigger.
- After the milking event, it says that it offers you a health potion as compensation, which automatically heals you one point. But I think it would be better if it were added as an item in your inventory to use whenever you wish.
- During the bell event, the dialogue implies that you start lactating and it is spraying everywhere, but no lactation triggered from the engorged breast. Nor did anything happen in the environment to make it seem as if it were overflowing with milk.
- If you already got your breasts engorged by the bell event, they will not expand any bigger (despite it happening when the bucket spills on us after the bimbofication), even though the machine triggers an expansion if you approach it with default-sized breasts.
- If I'm remembering correctly, the potions had to be ingested for the effects to trigger, but when the potion splashes us from falling into the cauldron, it happened regardless, affecting both you and the kobold. Is this a retcon, or was it always intended to be like that? Same with the hissing pink mist (even though red always meant breast expansion) in the treasure chest.
- A previous comment made a great observation that if you click an encounter in rapid succession, it will let you skip an event. It was actually how I was able to obtain the bimbonomicon without being bimbofied by the prior event.
- I'm having a hard time understanding why you're even given the option to ignore the milking machine if it just subjects you to it anyway. It just seems like it's giving you the illusion that choices matter.
- Your skin doesn't turn blue from activating the Berry Amulet after expanding your breasts from the treasure chest and undergoing bimbofication.
- After bimbofication, the part of the pants on the expanded butt does not match the pink colors on the rest of the outfit. I am using the brown-tan color. It eventually becomes pink with the stage-2 butt expansion from the blue potion at the kobold event.
- There should be names for your current customizations (e.g., "brown" for clothing color, "green" for eye color). Right now, no matter which color I pick for my clothing, it just says "Color 1".
- In Hint #10, it says to use the Berry Amulet at the ice elemental, but if you do that, you become too big and suffer defeat at the skeletons. You have to use it at the cauldron instead.
Notes:
My findings for bugs weren't exactly thorough. While I could have pointed out several more grammatical errors, it just didn't seem worth it and I didn't want to bother you with all of that—just a few pointed out.
I will gladly report anything else I notice later on, whether I choose to replay level one again or when this gets updated.
