Thank you for your comments. It is very encouraging to see developers like you paying attention during these early stages.

Your suggestions are good. I have already updated some of the rules according to the feedback I received before.

And yes, you are right. I need to update the rules because when I say "high quality," I do not mean videos at professional YouTuber standards. What I mean is that the videos should have sufficient quality for players to watch comfortably. The sound and speech should be clear and the gameplay footage should be watchable. My intention is to set basic quality standards, not expect professional YouTuber level production. Maybe I should update the rules to make this clearer.

Everyone who watches these videos will know that the content creator is not a YouTuber. He or she is a developer or gamer explaining the game, not a professional content creator. The video simply needs to be watchable and informative.

Regarding your second proposal, if the channel grows and starts generating income, the community can discuss how that money should be spent. You are right that moderators will eventually be needed, as I will not be able to handle everything by myself. There will also be marketing expenses and probably many other costs that I am even aware of.

The exact implementation can be discussed later. My personal wish is to use part of the income to buy indie games from content creator developers and share the keys with the community. Whether that ends up being 25% or 75%, or something else, is impossible to know right now. I think these discussions are still far in the future. First, we need to make the channel work.

For the video titles, I was thinking about something similar. For example:

[INNDEV – Nickname] TITLE

Or, if the video comes from a player or reviewer:

[INNREV – Nickname] TITLE

The title field already exists in the submission form. Do you think this makes sense?

And if you decide to share video, I would be very, very, very, very happy. If possible, please consider sharing a video about your own game by submission form. (I am assuming you are developing a game; if not, you are also welcome to participate as a reviewer.)

Please pay attention to the phrase “Thank you IndieGameInn for releasing this video.” that details already exist in rules. It is not intended as a thank you message. It is simply a way to verify that the video was created specifically for IndieGameInn and submitted by the person claiming ownership. It is not aimed at you personally, but because your video could become one of the first examples on the channel, it would be especially important.

Thank you for your comments.

You are welcome, by the way i should apology, because in my previous message i misspelled and some sentences doesn't meant what i tried to say and i didn't realised.

When i typed : 'i could also help you to upload a couple of videos at the channel,' i wanted to say: 'it could also help you if you upload a couple of videos at the channel,'

Since you are working in a game too, perhaps you could upload a video that more or less reflect the type of content you are aiming. But yeah, i am also working in a game, is not ready yet but, i am trying to work faster.  So if i manage to complete it i will submit to your channel too. :-)

'My personal wish is to use part of the income to buy indie games from content creator developers and share the keys with the community.' It could be used as prizes in a 'virtual bingo' or a raffle to gain some extra money to fund the channel. (Just another silly idea, my capitalist part kicked in. Haha)

Now i think about it. Can i upload a video of a already published game?

Also, another thing. But i also think that, once you have some videos in the channel, perhaps it could help to create a channel's profile in Twitter or Facebook to gain  more visibility to this project. Obviously if you can manage that, it don't think it could be easy task. But perhaps it could be better to start with only YT for now?

thank you. Yes as u say yesterday i post a video in channel about my game. I think it shows the concept very well. Please check it. Virtual bingo is interesting idea but i do not want to money issues so much in to channel because tje main purpose is to create a free platform for developers even provide sell of their game. But for sure later it can be asked to people but now too early.  Yes if ypu know a good indie game that u think it is not well known you can make a video about it and review it. So yes you can publish review of game whic is already published. X and facebook really works? Specialy facebook comes to me dead.

I don't know. I was just  spilling some ideas i had. And i understand your point about the Virtual Bingo, makes sense you wanna avoid money trouble. I respect that. Many of the ideas i had are for when the channel grows.

By the way. What INNDEV and INNREV means? I noticed in the video's title. And in the previous response.

If a developer send the video it will release as INNDEV  means indiegameinn developer content. if a gamer send a game (which he/she did not developed.) it will be released with INNREV title, means indiegameinn reviewer. Does it sense?

It makes sense to differentiate reviews from dev's content. Buy why not use 'Dev Log' and 'Review' instead?  I think (i may be wrong BTW), that's better to use common terms so people can find the content/understand the tittles more easily.

Again, it's just an opinion, and i can be wrong.

I do not like dev logs. Dev log is for developers. I want to reach gamers. I could write developer - xxx  but this looks more cool to me.
