The controls were a bit confusing, though the graphics and the page layout made me fall in love with the design aspect of your game. I believe more people should play and rate this work.

If I remember correctly the Forwards and backwards controls were calculated relative to the camera. That is a common practice in 3d games where the player has the ability to look around. In this case the camera was always stable, so the movement felt a little bit stiff. That's my own opinion though, maybe I am just not used to controls of these type ๐ .
