Yes. That is exactly what the overall intention is: to make you doubt your own perspective. And due to what happens in this chapter, all kinds of questions may remain with you, perhaps becoming somewhat difficult to place.
Can I trust Myrddin? As you said, you have known him much longer. So why listen to the words of what is essentially a stranger?
Or, precisely because that presence is a stranger to you, is there no reason for it to lie?
So… is Myrddin good, but simply someone you should not fully trust?
Or is he even good at all? Perhaps he is the evil one, and the other presence is the good one.
Is there even any good or evil here?
What was intentionally orchestrated, and what was simply a natural occurrence? Was anything ever truly unplanned?
And so on, haha.
But I will restrain myself from going into any more detail.
I can say that when sharpestcookie mentioned, and I quote, “Every answer we give him feeds his power…”
I found myself thinking… yes…, that theory was certainly theorying, haha.
Of course, I will neither confirm nor deny anything beyond that.
Yeah! It’s really fun and interesting to go through other people’s thoughts and theories, so I definitely recommend doing that.
