Not sure if it's what you're going for but the game feels very liminal, like something bad is waiting to happen. Try putting some invisible walls around the island to prevent the player from falling down. Cool game!

Thanks! Maybe I'll make a liminal spaces hame next! 😂 the odd spacing and same shape of the houses probably contributes to that. I guess to an extent it was part of the plan since the theme was essentially to give the player a sense that something is wrong.
