Yeah, I definitely should have made it more obvious how to do it. Basically, every task the company gives you, before you take any steps to do it, there is a villager (in order: Babo, Snider, and Preston) that you can talk to instead to get a new task. Once you talk to the villager and agree to help, you can no longer do the company's task and thatll lock you in to the "good deed". Everything else basically adds to your bad deeds.  Once you do anything for the company (chop a tree, break a rock, or pull a weed) you cannot talk to the villagers anymore. This resets every time the company gives you a new task.

Thanks for your feedback! You are correct in that there is no sound 🥲 I did this jam to prove myself that I could actually finish a game rather than just tinkering around, but completed that goal --- 30 mins before the submission deadline lol. I had a whole ost planned cos I made my start with music production. But I just sadly didnt have to time to do that prior.

As far as the grass, I mostly just measure the differences in the items x location with the players x location and turn of the visibility at a certain distance. Most people do this for performance, but I actually did it because the world's curved shader makes them look like theyre flying away after a while 😅

I just updated the games description to make that more clear. Thank you so much for your feedback!

There are two endings! I didn't want to give them away but for each thing the company asks you to do, there is one villager you can talk to and help instead

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you liked it!! You are totally right about the music. I wanted sfx and everything but didnt have time to get around to it sadly. I really appreciate your kind words!

hey, bro. That guy was not very nice. I cant rate this yet as I havent finished my queue but I'll make sure to give a fair rating when I can! Mine Is my first game too and its a buggy mess, lol. So I wont be too worried about any bugs

Thank you so much! that really means a lot! I tried increasing the viewport resolution recently to fit the text so hopefully that'll make it more legible. I thought I made the text scale properly but I guess not, lol. Just a part of learning I guess! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you so much!! Funny thing about the shader, I could only get it to work on stationary 3d objects so thats why the villagers just pop out of the houses and why the plants have such a low draw distance 😂 because they just look like theyre flying away if they stay visible. thank you so much for the kind words! My wife did all the art and was very happy to hear you liked it!

Thanks! Maybe I'll make a liminal spaces hame next! 😂 the odd spacing and same shape of the houses probably contributes to that. I guess to an extent it was part of the plan since the theme was essentially to give the player a sense that something is wrong.

Yeh, I failed to get the text to scale properly onnthe web version. My apologies! The scaling should be just fine on the downloadable versions, my bad. this is my first ever game jam so there's definitely a lot of issues that I just couldn't fix in time 🥲 THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PLAYING!!

My mod submission!

I winnnnn!!!!! oh.....

unoriginal joke aside, this game was definitely above my skill level so I lowered some of the stats to get through the whole thing ( I just lowered the damage by 10 points). Very fun!! I will definitely be giving an attempt at making something from this for your next video! :D

edit: I actually just beat it for real! Feels good lol.
