Great app, trying it out on my iPad and enjoying it a lot! Best PixelArt software on IPad I’ve tried so far.

Any chance we can get layer support and the ability to import reference images into the sheet without it creating a whole different project? That’d be great

Would also like to see a way to save and load different projects within the app.

Edit: Would be nice to easily export individual tiles, and also I can’t seem to find a way to save palettes, is this a missing feature?

First of all thanks for the kind support! Even more so for reaching out.

Currently layer support is only on the TileMap mode, would the introduction of a layer system on the TileSet mode also be a welcome addition?

Regarding the ability to include a reference image in view, would you rather that be in a mini view or as a background to the whole canvas?

Currently the method for project import and export is entirely handled via folder icon and export project in the zip format (default or tiled format both work for import & export).

The color palette options, including the idea of import / export of them has been something I’ve been waiting for some user feedback back to decide on further development so thanks for bringing it up.

P.S, I’m aware of an issue within the animation editor highlighting all when there is more than one animation present, and that has already been fixed, just need to submit the next version update for it to reach you.

Thanks for the swift response! I’m liking the application a lot so far.

Yeah TileSet layers would be great!

Reference images could be nice if it was a popout/overlay like the  color palette with the ability to zoom, move and pick colors from, if that’d be possible.

I’d really like a way to manage having multiple projects at once without needing to like export and import them individually. An option to export a selection or individual tile would be a huge bonus additionally as well, but I understand if it’s not a priority!

Gone through a lot of pixel art apps on iPad trying to replace Affinity Photo because it’s terrible at pixel art, and this app is by far my favourite out of all I’ve tried! So thank you for that, and good work :)

Got it, this gives me some real user-side insight, I’ll take our discussion on board and see what I can do. Keep a look out for the next update!

Thanks again :)

Just a quick update: I’ve now added tile selection export, the reference image panel, and color palette improvements (import/export + extract from image). These are all included in the latest build and are currently awaiting App Store review (both iPad & mac version).

Really glad you’re enjoying the app so far — it means a lot 👍

The other things you mentioned are closely tied to the app’s core, so they’ll take a little longer to implement, but they’re definitely on the list.

edit: it's now been approved! :)

cool! Glad you’re updating it
