I really wanted to maintain as much of the original game's feel as possible since it is definitely of that era.

also i wanna say a couple more things i love about this, since ive been spending so much time playing it haha. spoilers. The petting is amazing, and all the little ui secrets i've found so far are super cool. also it has 2025 in the name??? the fact you can change the year? maybe it does something i dont know.. the fact that everytime you open it the art is different? it's very inspiring haha
I'll update the starting year every year, but the year selector is there just in case I end up late or forgetting LOL.
All of this game's big updates are honestly thanks to Toad22484's chat. They play this game every day and do 200 rolls on their stream and people suggest lots of silly things to add to the game, so sometimes I update and just add them LOL. Every new version is guaranteed to have something new, and it will likely be something random that you'll just come across while playing the game.
