Both parties can be  and are "the bad guy."  

Itch ABSOLUTELY is a bad guy in this.  Not only for so quickly capitulating, but because they did it in the manner they did.  They thought they could just institute this ban and say nothing and....I guess nobody would notice or care?  

All the site creator's cared to do was issue a saluting emote on the Discord and issue a limp non-apology.  

So yes, both sides can absolutely be bad guys and the creator of this website should ABSOLUTELY NEVER be trusted again.

The disgusting manner in which this was carried out, almost in the dead of night with no engagement with developers, consultants, etc, is absolutely unbelievable.

Every single person in charge of this website should step down immediately.  They can no longer be trusted.  Without warning or engagement, they removed the livelihood of a huge foundation of their creators, then offered a limp ass non-apology.  They've shown that they don't give a single damn about anyone that helped make this site what it is.  

It's disgraceful and shameful and this site and creators deserve every repercussion they face for how this was handled. 

Step down.

Immediately.

Remove yourself.

You have proven that you can not be trusted to protect or stand up for the work of the people that put you where you are at.

Fully expecting this site to kneel and capitulate to any and all fascist demands.  Its owners are worthless cowards and nobody should trust them from this point on.  

All content on this site  is now subject to any and all fascistic wrangling and the site's owners should be ashamed and leave immediately because they are completely ineffective and impotent in the face of doing anything to support or protect the creators that made the site what it is.

This game is unhinged in all the best ways.  It feels perfectly in line with the Lily games while also having its own identity. Loved it to bits.

Yep. Same issue here.  Images not loading on a lot of my game pages, dashboard, and profile  image not loading a lot of the time.

I don't know whether it's related to the latest update or not, but when I complete the plushie puzzle and see the scene immediately afterward, the textbox remains on screen and persists  through all game states afterward including new puzzles and Game Over.  

Stirring and impactful!

A really great little short form RPG with some meaty fights and fun exploration and writing.  More of this type of energy! 

Had an absolute blast playing the demo.  So much so that I only played the Monday portion because I wanna have even more to dig into once the game's finished.  

This was seriously amazing.  The style is incredible, the writing is snappy as hell, the music fits so well.  The entire tone of what you're doing here is PERFECT.  I really can't wait to see how all this winds up.

Best of luck on the rest of development. I'll be eagerly waiting to play day one.

 I specifically meant the white collar bit on items like the frilly dress.  I'd wanted to make it a darker grey/black to match the purple, for instance.  

Again, it's no biggie if it's too much of a hassle, I just thought I'd ask if it was any way possible.

I was curious if it'd be possible at any point (or if there's a way to edit the files being used) to change the colors on specific asset parts such as the collar and sleeve cuff colors on clothing like the dress currently in the program. 

Completely understandable if it's not planned, possible, or a priority. It's not a deal breaker at all, but just thought I'd ask.

Played through this over the weekend and I was just non-stop delighted at the  90's fantasy OVA energy and writing. The plot is self-contained and compact with just enough of intrigue past the ending to leave you wanting more, but still feeling satisfied.  The characters are a brilliant mix of well written believable people, but their interactions also end up intensely funny a lot of the time too.  

The presentation obviously speaks for itself, and the writing/prose is absolutely top shelf in every way. It's hard to really find much to complain about with this game. I simply enjoyed every time I got a chance to sit down and read through a chapter.

This is a game that I honestly can't believe I paid nothing for. I almost feel like I got away with something having not paid for it.  

An absolute gem for anyone needing a good short VN that's still very fleshed out and charming.

You need to install Java Runtime Environment, which is a pretty standard install for most operating systems.

I have a couple projects going in GameMaker and I wanna play with GB Studio soon, so I'd like to hope I get something new out sooner rather than later.  I work better when inspired, rather than forcing it, though.

You would be the first person to report that in the 7 years the game has existed, unfortunately. 

Windows and antivirus scanners are often very weird about hobbyist games and programs, so it's a false positive.

I'm very jealous of junkyard_dave right now :(

I do have plans for a future update to the game that'll add content, but it'll be a while if/when I get to it.

The slow burn romance is sweet, the action scenes are dope, and the character growth feels substantial and earned!  It's a pretty breezy read at only 120 pages, and a very smart extension of the game's lore.
