I wanted to talk to people but it was game over, so I have gone mission commando.

On the web version, when I speak to them it say I have been cursed, it's turn to night and I am immediately spotted as I am speaking to them, game over. Initially I was constantly pushing A, so I was avoiding them completely going into house or kneeling at a wall trying not to trigger the game over.
