Your last paragraph made me laugh hahaha.

I still can’t believe you’ve played the first release too! :D

I’m gonna drop this demo on Steam soon, like next month, but I’ll need play testers for the full game, and you sound exactly like the type of person who would be perfect for it (if that’s something you were interested in). I could give you a free key for lifetime access to the game in exchange for your valuable feedback.

However, I’m glad to have heard from you! How did you hear about the fact that I’d updated the game?

I would absolutely love a key and of course I will continue to provide any feedback I feel is necessary for each update. Feel free to send me a DM when you reach the point you have need of more testers and I will gladly join.

Any time I have some time to kill between life trying to kill me I open up Incremental Games DB and check the New tab and if I don’t find anything interesting I’ll check the other tabs, including Updated and if I still can’t find anything good to kill some time, I’ll even check Unconfirmed (which is usually empty - the mods stay on top of things in my experience)

Alternatively, I hop on Itch relatively often (several times per day) after giving a lot of comments, if only to check for replies and address any issues that come up as a result of my feedback.

One little extra disclaimer that I always try to include when providing feedback (not bug reports, but requests/suggestions) - I’m just one of many, so take my opinions as such and not necessarily as a representation of the will of the masses. It’s your game, make decisions that you believe are best for the game and it’s community at large.

Heck yeah! I'm still working on the rest of the game (if that wasn't obvious), but I hope to have the full working game in a few months. Steam has a Next Fest in October that I want to participate in, and I wanna drop the full game right after it, so I definitely want it completed and tested and balanced before then, so ... uh, sometime August/September-ish? I guess we'll see how life goes haha.

I've been trying to get incrementaldb to show "Updated" for my game, but I haven't figured it out yet. I had a suspicion people checked for games in exactly the order you described (minus the "Unconfirmed" place that I didn't know was a thing), so I guess I'll try harder. Or something. Hahaha.

Anyway, suffice to say, I can't speak for other devs, but I at least personally feel very grateful for the time you took to both play and write some feedback. It's invaluable!
