I'm really sorry to say but I think this game very perfectly captures everything about NES games. I thought the graphics reminiscent of C-tier NES games like Faria looked very interesting, and the music is awesome (way better than that of Faria), but the game just throws game mechanics at you with no explanation like real (mainly early) NES games, the enemies are relentless, it's far too easy to cancel past the level-up menu (to the point where I didn't even understand what it was at first), the game tends to spawn you with no planets on-screen at the very beginning. I will likely rate it high in all aspects except for the gameplay. Sad! And next time please make the web version's screen like at least twice as large.

Yeah, it has a lot of issues in the gameplay due to it being rushed around the end. Although it being cryptic was 100% intentional. I'm making a post jam version that fixes some of my personal issues with it as well as fixing a lot of bugs. I'm glad you checked it out even if you ended up not liking it.
