It's so rare to encounter a fantasy adventure that feels highly original and visionary. The art and words work really well together here, and the layout/design really helps evoke the beautiful and mysterious mood of this work.
While the adventure isn't overly complex, it builds an atmosphere that is intriguing and filled with wonder, while also presenting moments that can be threatening and sinister.
I'm not sure whether I'll ever get to run this - I really hope so - but the experience of reading it and the images it evoked for me was well worth it.
